Help! Points expired?!

How are you supposed to earn points if they all expire?! I logged on just now and found that on my horsechannel.com homepage 5000 some of my points had expired. so im down to 200 now. Why and when do points expire?

I can send pm's to people but they can't send them to me. My inbox says I can recieve them. Also Sunny said hers doesn't work unless she pm's someone first. But it's not like that for me. I pmed Penny and she got it and can't pm me back. La_Kota can't pm me.

What can I do to fix this?

When I go to try and change my signature by clicking the little picture icon it won't let me. I can click it but nothing comes up. Everything else on the page is working fine, but the link won't work and let me upload a photo. Help please! Thanks.

iMac Book problems with posting images

hi people

i have an Mac laptop computer, and am having difficulties with posting photos on forms AND my signature.
my computer uses Internet Explorer 5.1, and it seems to me that it is also not working for Mac's in general. i've tried to post pics on my main Apple computer, and it still doesn't work!
i think the program isn't compatible with Macs.

if anybody has had the same problem and has found the solution, please let me know.

Problems with this forum

I've been having a problem the past 3 weeks or so with this forum, and only this forum. Often when I go to read a thread, all of a sudden I get that there is an error and the window is closing. It will happen constantly on that thread. Like right now, it's the thread where I posted photos of my horses called Shakespeare and some others. I can't read that thread because it will constantly close the window. I don't have this problem with any other forums, only this one. It's very frustrating!

So I upload my photos to flickr, and then I go and try to post the picture into a new topic useing the link, but then it tells me that the "file isent permitted". I don't know whats wrong. So then I upload them to photo bucket and I try again, but it says that same thing. Then I try uploading the photo itself from my comp, and yet again, it says the same thing.

So, HOW DO YOU UPLOAD A STUPID PHOTO???????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????

apparently with most if not all of the posts I make with links they do not work at all, and you cant copy and paste them either.

Im pretty ure it is not a setting I have on my puter as links work on other boards.

This can be pretty head bang on desk for some including me. Is there something I am missing a setting or something here on HI that I need to click or unclick to get it so people can click on links or apparently quote also?

Was finally able to get to videos using Firefox. I have a MAC you guys....get with the program. Also..I thought when I signed up for the horse club..that it included the horse channel...apparently not. This is not readily apparent.

This has been happening more and more frequently lately, and this is very much getting on my nerves!!!

When I log into horse channel, it says I'm logged in. HOWEVER, as soon as I navigate away from that page I am immediately kicked off. It says I am a guest again. If I log in to try and post a thread or a reply, it says I am not logged it and need to register to post. In addition, when I try to go the my control panel it says my time has expired and it needs me to log in again - yet, as soon as I click on a different page, I'm logged off again.

This is incredibly annoying. I've contacted tech support via email as well as the administrators of horse channel with absolutely no email back. It is very frustrating to try and solve this issue when those supposed to help with this issue are not responding to my messages. I have been a long time member of the forum [over YEARS] and while I do not post as frequently as some of the other senior members, I have contributed much of my time to the forum. I am about ready to leave the forum because of this issue and I am warning others to stay away because of it. I have had other forum users message myself with the same complaint so I do know that I am not alone. What can be done about this?!?!

Problems quoting posts

Sometimes when I try to quote a previous member's post in my reply, it shows up in a blue tones box above my answer. Other times though, it just has the quote written normally with the words "quote" on either side of it. How can I make it always show up in the blue box, b/c I think this makes it much easier to understand?

When I quote, I just click on the quote button on the person's post I would be referring to.

Photo problems

I am unable to upload photos. I click on the button, the one with the little mountains and sun, or w/e it is on it, and nothing happens at all. It's like I never clicked it. I have checked my personal settings and I am allowed to post them, but it refuses to let me.
Has anyone had this happen or does anyone have any suggestions?
I can't even up date my signature because I can't upload the new one that I made.

This has happened to me more than once...it's been about two months since the last time it happened though...

Whenever I am looking through the forum...say I click on General Dis. the screen will freeze and then when it unfreezes a box pops up and says: Out of memory at line: 2 .....it'll do this a couple times before the GD screen (or whatever I click on) comes up.

It does the same when I'm posting...it'll freeze...the box will pop up a few times...then I'll type my post and when I click on the post my reply thing...it freezes and the little box pops up again before my reply is posted.

Why would it be doing this? Is it just my computer (I'm using a brand new Dell laptop)?

Any info on my little issue would be appreciated!

Login Glitch?

This is slowly driving me mad.
I'll log in like normal when I first get on a site. It will stay logged in as long as I don't try to post something, then it will log me out, totally losing my post. I used to be able to log in again and it would be fine. But now I have to keep trying to log in until it finally lets me post. I've emailed two different admin emails-one twice- and haven't gotten a reply yet. This has been going on for over a month now and I would really appreciate some help, or even just an acknowledgment that you got my emails and are aware of the problem.

hi, i tried to enter the photo contest http://www.horsechannel.com/virtual-horse-show/virtual-horse-show.aspx and any time i try to look thru the catagory it takes me to the site map, except ONE time it said "no horses registered in this catagory enter here" and then i tried to submit my entry. i filled out all of the info and attached the photo [it was a JPG file] and then it took me back to the site map.

what is my problem here??

Does anyone know how to add an attatchment to your profile? I'd like to post some artwork i've done but can't find how to do it. There's a button on the control panel that says "Edit Attatchments" but it doesn't say how to add one.
