It can be any horse related word. (saddle, pony, horses' name, dressage, ribbon, anything!)

In an effort to stop the clogging of the boards, I have made this topic.

So here you can put all your horse stories that you really want to tell someone but that would just take up space. I'll start: what should I tell you guys...

OH! I just read this post by Woodrow's Mommy that made me realize what a special boy my horse is. He came to his old owner becuase he was pretty. She couldn't ride him though, so she donated him to a University. As the story goes, he would not let anyone in his stall at UGA. He would bite, kick, anything to keep them out. Well this sounded strange to me since he's such a lovey boy now and he'll let anyone pet him. He even has little kids that have anger management problems ride him as a theraputic horse so I can make some extra money every once in a while! But anyway, Woodrows Mommy was saying that at the universities they do really mean things to the horses to expirement and then discard them however they want. Well about a month after he left his owner for UGA, Beau came back down the same gravel driveway he left. But apparently he was afraid of humans becuase they were mean to him. so he still wouldn't let anyone in his stall. Well I was leasing a pony at that barn, and I didn't know to be afraid of Beau. So I just walked right up and he let me pet him and go into his stal and everything. So then my mommy bought him and fixed him and all of his bad habits. Somewhere along the way she got it into her head that she was going to Rolex or something. So she recently bought a new horse and I got Beau.

And we all lived happily every after. Except for when he gets excited and his old habits resurface/

So yah, basically you can just tell about your favorite horses, and why you adore them so much!
The first horse I love is Spy! He's excelling so well, kicking butt in Children's, Pre-Greens, and even being super good for eq! I jumped him 3'6" the other day (it was a gymnastics, 2'9" to 3' to 3'6"), and he was an angel. ♥♥♥♥
I also have to love Mal, my pony. She taught me so much! Together we've transformed from awkward short stirrup rider and mediocre show pony to Large Pony Hunters (3') Champion more times than I can count. She's the first horse I ever jumped 3'+, and now she gives a little girl a lesson once a week and wins walk-trot ribbons with her. She's truely my pride and joy. =...)

Just wanted to share some pictures. You may have seen a few before, but most are new. All of them are of my current horse Gilly, unless I say otherwise. If someone could make me a siggy out of any of the Gilly pictures, I would be enternally grateful, as I don't really have the creativity to go with my photoshop's capabilities.

You can critique the pictures if you want, but this is really just a post to share some of my horsey pictures.

^This is Magic, a horse I used to lease. Don't mind the saddle, it came with the horse. I rode him bareback more often than with the saddle, it was so uncomfortable.

Who else love the Phantom Stallions series by Terri Farley. I can't believe I, (my mom), found Mustang Moon at goodwill. Doesn't anyone appreciate terrific writing any more. On Phantom Stallion Wild Horse Island, the alliteration of beginning letters helps me memorize the titles. Shining Stallion, Castaway Colt, Galloping Gold, to name a few. She's only going to write 16 WHI, books and she's more than half way through. To tell you the truth I like the PHS, better than the WHI series. I love how the cover looks painted it's so gorgeous. Maybe one of the reasons I like her books so much is the characters are teens like me, dealing with horses, that can be a handle fun and you know exactly how they feel.
