Here is a picture of Shine and me, With my 1st place ribbions (1st ever placing 1st w/ him, gotten 1st before just not w/ him). We recived a 1st in Trot Barrels and Trot Poles. I know it may not seem liek much, but to me thats a huge accomplishment; since end of July till now i've been teaching him the patterns. Were just now starting to lope a little on the barrels. My hair looks horrbile, please ignore. Hope you like the purple/pink on him lol

Shine is a breeding stock Paint. His mom is a TB named Compassoniate's Love and she is an OTTB (donno if thats the right text for off the track tb?) and his dad is Shiny Diamond, he lives at my vets barn. He's a registered Paint. We call him stripe. Its really cool because all of his babies have a little white "stripe" on them. Thats where they got the barn name from. Thanks for all your comments!

my best guess is an appendix quarter horse(thoroughbrd/quarter horse)???????

or arab/quarter horse???? this is hard. he looks like a qh.

The saddle pad is not mine, it's my trainer's. I only have 3 saddle pads that are mine. Thanks for all the comments so far. I plan on taking a conformation shot before he gets his winter coat. I'm going to do it before my vet comes and looks at this kick mark. My trainer says he'll have to put a needle in it to get rid of all the fluid built up in it. I forgot what you call it and he'll have to be trangulized(sp) because he's a kicker, but not to people but just in case.

Yep. Shine is a Breeding Stock Paint. His dad is a Paint horse, at my trainer's vet's barn. His mom is a an off the track TB. She's back at the barn where I board at now. Thanks for your comments. I'm soon going to be take a picture and of his conformation. I thinik he'll be a decent barrel/pole racer, he can deff. turn on a dime. He doesnt like Western pleasure, he kept his head low until the lope part. Oh well, I cant wait till were running on barrels.

He's cute! And he looks tall lol I'm going to guess that he's an Appendix QH (tb x qh)? Just because he looks tall like a TB but kind of QHish too haha

Feel free to comment on them. I'd love to here your opinons about my horse. He's been trained for Western Pleasure and now I'm teaching him Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. He's picking up the pattern pretty quick. He's 6yrs old gelding. I'd like to see you try and guess what breed he is. I'll give you a hint, he's not a purebred, he's a cross. Please comment about my horse Shine.
