As the editors of Horse Illustrated, we’d like to hear what you have to say. Which columns and articles did you like? Is there anything we don’t have that you’d find interesting? Now is the time to be heard; your feedback can help improve Horse Illustrated for 2009.

Well I like to learn all kinds of cash saving or time saving tips! And different things like maybe "How to buy a horse on-line" or something like that would be cool. Also like what to watch out for when you buy a horse and what are some first horse owner tips?

I've already posted ideas in the Health and Breed section but I will post the one idea again since this IS the General Forum.

I recommended an overview of discussion regarding the Primitive Marking Theory.

http://www.duncentralstation.com/PrimitiveTheory/PrimitiveMarkingTheory.pdf

I think it would be awesome to read about and to get the theory out to the public.

(See also the Health and Breeds forum for my other recommendations).

I already posted my ideas under Health and Grooming and English.

To add to that, I would really like to see "The Life of Dr. Riley" stay. I always get a chuckle over her adventures.

I think it would be more interesting if the natural horsemanship trainers were switched around every month or so. That way, we could learn about different ideas, instead of only one way.

I like the well rounded format of the magazine, and would like to see that stay.

I need to get in gear and get a copy. Jess

In the early days of our Country where ever you saw a human foot print there was a horse print right behind it. The Wild mustang is A national treasure  ! The feeling I get off a herd of wild horses Cannot be explained -when they run its as pure as energy gets. The American Indians knew there horses better than any. Sometime try riding your horse at gallop with no saddle and hands free shooting a bow Its tough.

I want to see more contests, and more of those tips you guys had when it was your 30 yr issue. I loved those like 30 Blue Ribbon Tips. Those were amazing. I also want to see more like checklists for shows, spring cleaning, grooming. That helps me a bunch too.

I think there should be a section for people who have reached a goal or made great progress or something like that

Or a page for international horse people so people not in America can give tips and stuff like different olympic riders

I'd like to see more articles on new medical treatments and how they're working here and overseas. For example IRAP therapy for arthritis. Chip removal and how it may or may not affect performance. Recomendations for follow-up therapy, etc.. There are many unwanted horses out there and many can become great pleasure to sport types with the right knowledge and care.

I would like what filly.blue said.  I think it would be interesting and improve American riders riding.
