Serendipity - what Hoodsey said makes perfect sense. She was using the O'Connors as a positive example of pros who use NH to help them improve their horse's performance in the show ring.

In any case, the reason that the magazine features Parelli so much is because Parelli buys a lot of advertising space from the magazine and has for a long time. The power of Parelli is it's highly effective advertising machine. They are aggressive in maintaining and expanding their market share, and because of their hard-core following, they can afford to continue to advertise even in difficult economic times. As a result, it's pretty likely that the Parelli stuff in the magazine will continue for as long as they continue to fill ad space.

I'd like to see a rotation of different trainers, like Clinton Anderson one month, Parelli another month, John Lyons, some Native American training, etc. I would also like to see more about how to interpret horse body language.

My beautiful mare, Dakota. The best horse in the World!

The Oconners distanced themselves from pat and linda some time ago. I could repeate the rummors as t othe reasons why but they are just rummors and I did not  see or hear anything first hand so to that  it would be irresponsible for me to do so.

I read my HI mag over the course of two days so that I can make sure I understand what is being said. I don't mind learning about NH, English, or western.I just wish that HI would focus a little on different types of riding like trail or endurance. I'm tired of the same thing I purchased this mag. to learn new things. Why not talk to the hobby farmer see what they do with there horses, ask if they spend thousands of dollars to train there horses. See what it's like on an average day with there horses, ask them how they train and take care of horses. You might be surprised to hear how they do things. My sister trims her horses feet on her own along with mine. we do not use shoes on our horses we trim using the [u]mustang method[i]. Can you talk about that, it's new to me, how many others have heard of it?

What happend to parelli?? The first thing i did when i got my HORSE mag was flip to the parelli page!! I think you should do diffrent trainers each month like one month Parelli the next Clinton Anderson And next Stacy Westfall and so on but i really liked the parelli part of the mag it was my fav PLEASE bring it back IF ppl dont like parelli they are just going to have to live with it millions of ppl use parelli and it has really made them happy others will just have to ignore the parelli page if they dont want it

I would love to see more horse owners aware of the horses body on the inside and how it should be able to bend and flex-please feel free to share this free utube video yoga for your horse.
