I love Hanos. But Dutch Warmbloods are my favorite. :)

I like them as well!
I wish I could buy one , but the good ones are soooo expensive!
Eventually I want to get a warmblood though, I don't care which breed, or colour as long as it's a good horse with a good heart :)

I got to ride a Hanoverian gelding for my riding class placement for college. He was awesome!! And HUGE! They said he was 17.2hh I think...He was fun to ride. Reeeally smooth and he could practically step over all the fences LoL. I hope I get to ride him for this fall when I actually go away to school!

My coach has done business with a Hanoverian breeder in our area, so we frequently have a few in our barn to sell. They are nice horses, although these days I rarely see much distinction between the warmblood breeds.
Society does not need more children; but it does need more loved children. Quite literally, we cannot afford unloved children - but we pay heavily for them every day. There should not be the slightest communal concern when a woman elects to destroy the life of her thousandth-of-an-ounce embryo. But all society should rise up in alarm when it hears that a baby that is not wanted is about to be born. ~Garrett Hardin

I learned the basics on an 18yo dark bay Hanoverian lesson horse and he was amazing. He had the bumpiest trot but his canter was the smoothest I've ever ridden, and I've ridden a lot of horses. It was amazing. He was quite a character, too. I've never met another quite like him. He could jump nicely too, I learned on him up to 2'6''. He was a fanastic horse. There will always be a special spot in my heart for hanoverians, even though I ride two Arabs now.

Hanos are nice horses and good jumpers, but like Misfit said, there is little distinction these days between warmblood breeds. Personally, I prefer English and Irish TBs over warmbloods.

I agree. I love WBs, all of them, but seriously, they're are too many of them now!! I was in a class of 40 at an A show this spring, and 35 of them were bay WBs with white socks . . . not kidding.
So they're beautiful, but I prefer to be different and go with a TB, which aren't seen as much on our show circuits anymore (sadly. . . )

I love them, and their looks. I prefer TB's though.
