My ex-bf also showed horses so he was always at shows that I was at, only we were showing against each other. I always won. I don't think I would like having my BF at a show if they weren't showing. I am very concentrated when I show and I wouldn't want to have that distraction.

I always dreamed of becoming a jockey. Now, I have the chance- but my fiance is jealous of the horses! He doesn't want me to take this once in a lifetime opportunity! What do you great horse people think? Read my blog and help with advice: http://delilawagton.wordpress.com/   Thanks:)

My boyfriend is totally supportive! He loves the horses, he helps me when i work at the barn (feeding and stuff) He's gone on trail rides with me and always wants me to give him riding lessons! He's absolutely amazing I couldn't ask for anyone better!

My boyfriend isn't exactly a horse person.  His family has horses, and he helps feed them and stuff, but he doesn't really like to go riding...especially trail riding.  He has a fear of water and hates it when the horse he rides tries to play in the creek.  I'm lucky if I can get him to ride once a year.

On the other hand though, he is very supportive of me and my horsey pastimes.  He helps me do chores from time to time, and as much as he says he doesn't like horses, I have seen him stroke and talk to Tater when he thought I wasn't looking.  He has been to a few of my shows and taken lots of pictures of me competing (photography is his passion).  He is always very encouraging and understanding.  He knows how much my horse means to me, and that wherever we live in the future, we will need to have someplace nearby to keep Tater.

In a perfect world, all boyfriends would adore horses...but the world isn't perfect.  I'm quite happy with what I have though, and I love my boyfriend and my horse way too much to get rid of either of them.

My boyfriend is very supportive, thankfully! He has horses of his own, and rides every now and then. He's a handy guy to have around the barn, too...he'll fix anything! I don't compete, but if I did, I know he'd come to every show or competition. He's a keeper! ;)

:) hes forced into it, with little to no complaints.

its kinda like hes accepted that the horses are twice as important then him.

After all, if he doesnt support, i can always find someone else who does.

what?
