My horse is still in the middle of training, but is right now in the process of being trained western and some reining skills. She's really good and all so far, but I'm mainly an english rider and have ridden mostly english, not western. I like western and I am trying to learn more and get better at it, but I would also like to get my horse to do some of my discipline... Any advice on western riding or how to train your horse both disciplines!!! Thank you

I had this same deal with my horse.

I pretty  much just started riding her with an english saddle, and got her usedto the feel of two hands on the reins and what not.

And after that I would practice collection and impulsion in 20m circles.

Once this is mastered you can move on to small jumps, gradually getting more difficult and higher

Diamond- THE MOST AMAZING HORSE EVER.

Dressage - A way of life, not just riding.
