well, i was anorexic for a very long time and actually had to be hooked up to heart monitors at night because my heart rate would drop dangerously low, but i can say, i wasn't ready to give up my ed then, and i don't believe i want it to go away completely now. so, i gotta say, when it comes down to it, the horse world needs to promote woman who are comfortable with their bodies no matter what size they are

That's me too! I'm average pretty much everywhere, but my calf muscles are rather large...lol.

I'm just muscular everywhere, lol. My dad actually called me ripped. I was like, I'm a girl, my goal is to be FIT, not ripped...

Ace's Mom (11/2/2009)
Not plus sized in most places, but I apparently have plus sized legs. I can't find any boots to fit my calf. (Can't afford to spend $600+ on custom boots) Maybe someone reading this could help me out? Anyone know where to find X-wide calf english field boots. A lot of companies claim to have an X-wide calf, but it's still not big enough! Very frustrating! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know someone who has the Mountain Horse X-Wide Calves. She says they are the only ones that were wide enough and she is plus sized. My friend who has larger calves borrowed them and confirmed that they were definitely x-wide. Plus, they have the stretch part in the back along the zipper to add a little more room.

No, not if they're obese or clinically underweight.  'Comfortable,' in most of these circumstances, is actually more akin to delusional or denial about their body and their health.

well, then i guess it's a great thing that no one can make anyone do anything because i will only be comfortable at 80lbs and i know other people who will only be comfortable at 180lbs and are shrimpy, so, i guess that's the beauty of a gov. that doesn't give a hoot about the individual, and insurance rules haha

Ok, so when I said I beat the "skinny" girl who wins all the rodeos and stuff, I wasn't discriminating towards thin people, I just didn't like her cause she gave me the stank eye all the time, and I never even talked to her or anything, just wanted to clear that up.

But we're not on here to shun thin girls, we were just celebrating our plus sizes!

Here's one girl who'd rather clean out a stall then go to the mall!
