I was reading Equine Wellness Magazine and there was an article by Chris Irwin about Equine Assisted Personal Development that he invented. He seems really down to earth and teaches you about equine body language and stuff... I was thinking about buying his book and if I'm interested I'll try his program... Maybe even try EAPD! But I want to know what you think?

I've never heard of that training. However, if you study up on how to do it, and it is all safe for you and your horse, I say give it a try and see if he likes it!

I'm not a big Chris Irwin fan. Have read his one book (which was OK, a little touchy feely for me) and have seen him at a few expos (was not impressed). There was one poster who used to come here alot who used his program and got good results with it. So like SA says, if you like him and his program, go for it.

Thanks! Yeah I'm currently trying PNH but Loverboy (can I just call him Boye, it's his stable name!) really isn't responding well to the program and so far I've learned zilch about horse physiollogy or body language. Just how to play games which really doesn't help me in any sport or real horsemanship activity. I want to learn to be part horse. I've read The Man Who Listens To Horses, How To Think Like A Horse, and many, many other books and articles but when I opened up the PNH OnLine book it was "do you want more Savvy? Then buy the Liberty, Freestyle and Finesse patterns!" and the video didn't tell me how to do things, it just showed 'lord parelli' doing them!? I'm sitting here like, 'okay, I bought your OnLine patterns. Just tell me how to do those before I go buy your other billion buck products!"
