We are currently planning to put in an outdoor arena. I run barrels and need to know basic dimentions for it. We can't put in the 100' x 200'. What is the minimum size that I could run barrels in without being too cramped? I think the longest side could be at 100'. Would that be enough?

Thanks Sunny06 for the siggy!

I've tried barrel racing in a 100X60 ft arena, and it's next to impossible unless you just want to jog the pattern or are riding a 12hh pony. I'd say 100X150 would be ideal, but I think the smallest you would want to go is 100X100, if you are serious about barrel racing.
