thanx hibiscus(sorry if i spelled it wrong). i get wayyy over excited when i watch people work with horses. i saw monty's clinics and went 2 his farm since i live 10 minutes from it. i was inspired by him and stacy. me and my horse hav an even stronger bond than be4. that's important 2 cause the vet says she has 1 year left as a result of an old racin injury. anyway, gettin off topic. it's true that he didnt invent join-up, sorry i worded it wrong i think. just curious, how did he alienate himself? i kinda understand but kinda don't.

I have to agree with what several of you have said about training a horse for the horse, it takes many ways and approaches with differant training methods for all the differant horses and temperments.  Thats why theres so many differant types of "training styles" each one thinking their the best and only one, when in fact we really need all of them to do the job!!  As for the price to attend these training sessions, well, unless your rolling in dough, forget it.  They make it sound like the average joe can afford it but theres no way.  I'd like to attend one but unless I win the lottery thats one dream that will never come true, not at over $3000.00 for just a couple of weeks!!  Thats just an example of one well known trainer. They've all gotton a little money crazy and its really to bad because just like the actors and actresses we're the ones that put them up on their pedastools and made them all their money.  Guess they forgot that.

I enjoy Aeron Mack and her flip that horse training. I think she is absolutley in it for the horse and owners, she has all her videos on her site and youtube for free. If you want a DVD she does charge for that. Well worth it if you ask me.
