He and I were competing at the highest level and still achieved the rally's best score. No jump faults and the fastest time by over 8 seconds in every jump-off round, and an INSANE take-your-own-line course. Angled two max height oxers set at an angle like: l_ and got a one stride in between. It wasn't our speed that cut so much time off, but rather our turns. It was overall an awesome weekend. Please critique my position!

^ This one looks weird because a.) I am reaching for my stirrup (keep in mind the locked right ankle) and b.) my release is funky. After this oxer I did a super tight roll-back to a 2-stride along the rail, obviously in the jump off.

Sorry for the poor picture quality!

wow the pictures look great, tough its hard to put on a proper critique about posture since pics are a bit blurry and the angle doesnt help much, so the critique may turn out to be wrong, overal im happy with your posture over the jumps.

I'm not the best person to critique ^^. Lovely horse and congrats

Your leg position looks good, and i understand about your heels so no comment there. Your just far enough out of the saddle to give your horse his back without jumping ahead, you have a slight roach in your back but i think thats do to your head being tucked low. I would like to see a bigger release, i understand you may be doing an auto but try and have your hands follow a little more, i feel he would really use his head and neck better.

Yeah your legs are deff. reaching for those irons lol. Try to stay centered over your horse, i understand you have a tight turn ahead but your ducking to the left severly.

Your way to ahead of the motion, bend at your hips and wait for your horse to jump up to you. Also remember to give a release your horse seems to want to stretch out but your hands are holding him, remember hands should be out beyond your chin, here there just planted at the withers.

Sorry to dark cant see lol.

Your leg looks ok, i think you may be pinching at the knee a little but it could just be the angle of the pic. Your seat is good and your back is flat with your head up looking for your next fence, your release is better here also.

Your leg has slipped far back and as a result i think you may be falling back into the saddle to early. Your upper body is good with flat back and head up and your hands seem to be following your horse.

You and your horse look really good, congrats on your awesome day sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. -Sky

Your position is weak and you need more work on the basics. Also, nobody is going to give you a better critique because you supposedly got the "rally's best score in the rally's highest class." Nobody cares, and personally I would have given you a much more productive critique if you hadn't been so cocky.

Oh gee, sorry... I didn't realize it was so offensive for someone to take pride in doing well.

Jesus. Talk about sensitive.

She wasn't being cocky. Ever heard of sharing the news? People on here honestly want to know what place people got in shows if they post a critique. Most of the people on here have been in shows that difficult and will congratulate the posters accordingly if they placed well, because they know how it feels, and how hard it is to place that well at that high a level. I think she did a really good job at her show! Me? I couldn't even jump 3'9", let alone compete over it and get first in the whole show! So, she might be bragging a little, but let her, because I think she deserves bragging rights on this one.

Please tell me: How do you like my new siggy? The poem is mine, just so y'all know

^The OP isn't from ontario genius.

And that's okay, IMO there are MUCH worse things you can be than stuck up.

Society does not need more children; but it does need more loved children. Quite literally, we cannot afford unloved children - but we pay heavily for them every day. There should not be the slightest communal concern when a woman elects to destroy the life of her thousandth-of-an-ounce embryo. But all society should rise up in alarm when it hears that a baby that is not wanted is about to be born. ~Garrett Hardin
