I am trying to decide what kind of boots to get. I have heard the Pro Choice is good from some people, and stinks from others.
Is their velcro really as crappy as people say? If so, is there a better kind you can get for close to the same price?
Any help would be nice!

| I use Prof. Choice SMB boots - both front and sliders. I like them a lot and found no problems with the velcro even after a number of washings after use. While a lot of boots are comparable, I really like the quality of the Prof. Choice products (I also use their air ride pads).

I use the SMB II on my horse. I've had them for 3 years now and I love them! Never had any problems with the velcro. I haven't heard anyone else complain about it either. High quality boots that last a long time. I'm thinking about buying either the SMB III or Elite soon. I don't really need them since my SMB II's are still in like-new condition, but they're designed to fit a little better.

I use SMB boots pretty often, and have no complaints. :) I throw a pair of SMB's on most young horses I work with, to give them a little extra protection...and let me tell you, those boots get knocked around and beat up a lot. They're tough, and they seem to last a long time! Love 'em.

I haven't ever used them on my own horses, the head trainer at the arena I ride at has more pairs of SMB than I ever want to even try to count. So they are probably pretty good as I far as I can tell.
